Bjørk-Guinevere Kinsella Eide (born 1995) is a pianist and composer specializing in electroacoustic music. Her artistic process often originates from a feeling, an image, or the interaction between colors. She experiences music in a visually inspiring way and lets this unique approach form the basis for her work in composing music.
Bjørk has experience working in film, including through the TIFF and Mirage Filmfestival in 2023. Additionally, she has also worked in various theater productions and solo performances. Her latest project "Allusions" combines film and music. Read more below!
Allusions
I often find myself in a limbo between reality and dream, where my dreams are so vivid that I can’t know if it actually happened. I’m leaning into it in my coming art project with MovEmotion film production.
The music consists of processed piano and vocals. My method (to this point) has been to take melodic elements and build them on top of each other.
The piece will be performed at Festspillene Nord-Norge in June 2025.
